the OC gear gives +40 primary stat and the special stat boosts damage from phantom actions by 1% per upgrade tier (e.g. 40 at base, 80 at +1, and 120 at +2), which is gigantic for ilvl700.
3 pieces of +2 gear is more than being potted with HQ Grade 2 gemdraughts permanently, and the special stat boosts damage works extremely well (thats 15% for free at max upgrade on hard hitting skills like Starfall, the Cannoneer skills, etc). considering it's entirely grindable without need of entering FT, it's free damage on reasonable gear that'll come in handy come 7.4/7.5.
