My interpretation of what happened.
Mav was seeing herself riding something like a fire dragonic spirit during her journey (probably she was naked the whole time too, since biker suits didn’t exist in her times).
One of the things her brain recalled was riding that fast and powerful spirit for all these years ,making her addicted to high speed.
still had her force ghost talk with her sister too.

She finds out gatasexo can make bootleg dragon tech , so she describes her a vague description of the “fire spirit”.
And xilonen ended up building the bike, which was as close she could do at time.
