i actually have a degree in classics and a minor in latin. good luck, it's a fun but very difficult language, although not as hard as you'd think when compared to any of the languages outside of europe. ecclesiastical is very different from classical pronunciation, it would probably be better to just teach an actor from scratch than have them listen to a priest's ecclesiastical latin and thus pronounce latin with what is basically a semi-modern italian accent.
