Warpfire Throwers are really only good at mulching gobbos or other skaven infantry, they've got shit range and very little armor piercing and can pretty easily be routed with any pressure. Every faction can either outrange them, send early cav into their rear (later on dragons or terror causing monsters), or just laugh off the damage with 60+ armor.
