Definitely missed opportunity to have some spending time with Hiruko really getting to know her. But perhaps Uchikoshi just doesn’t know how to do scenes like that when they’re not a part of a mystery/contributing to the overall story. Just nice character moments

Considering Kodaka says the KG crew were fine after that contributes to the idea that some version of Takumi and Hiruko keep going into a routes future but the ones who have seen multiple routes get their asses sent back to day 2 and 3.
