The only non-colonised African country is kind of a shithole, others only had 50 years worth of development - hard to make a domestic tank industry in that timeframe, so most of that would just be copypaste.
Theoretically you could add some modifications like Algerian or Egyptian ones, but then you need to ask yourself in which tree are they supposed to go - since literally all the trees in game are those very colonisers, so people may have melties on the forums
