Fucking hate nurses. They form their own social cliques as well and it is just a fucking nuisance. Literally highschool drama with 30+ y/o women every day. The pay is really really good and you can work almost anywhere cross country / continent / world as a nurse so there is that.

I was a paramedic for a few years, it was a mixed bag. Some of the people I worked with were great and I forged lifelong friendships due to the nature of the job. Other people, mostly women, are similar to nurses but being out of the hospital makes them more manageable. I really fell in love with prehospital medicine but the reality of the job is that 95% of the calls you get are going to be things you wonder why they even called you in the first place. The other 5% are really interesting and fun ones but you have to be careful because PTSD can sneak up on you real quick.
Speaking from experience, most paramedics / EMTs have some flavour of autism with sprinkles of type A/B personalities so be prepared for that.
