ye back then when the VA industry for foreign properties was basically in it's infancy, so it makes sense things were like that then. but it's not really acceptable now though. there is no reason marios va went from someone that's been in the industry for a while now all the way down to someone who's most notable roles was dbz abridged. Charles literally played the main villain from the latest dragon ball movie in 2022 but lets go with the guy that did dB abridged? I duno if its nepotism but it doesn't make sense is all i'm saying. also look up the VA situation with genshin, the English VA industry is sorta like a cult at this point.
