Just because it's a bunch of punches and kicks doesn't mean it's lazy. It's animated well, the visual effects are spectacular even aside from the dimension-shattering final hit, and you even get a cut-in that people love to hype up.
The ONLY thing you can knock points for is that it doesn't have the sex appeal of Musashi's NP.
