Once upon a time I also had a negative outlook on gachas for one reason or another, but then I decided to give a few a try and I changed my mind. There's a lot of content in the games. They're entirely free to play as well. You don't even need to stick with them after you complete the main story and experience the world. You can treat them like a single player experience you go through once and you're done, kinda similar to HRPGs in that regard. The positive aspect about the p2w part is that they're inherently that upfront, unlike how conventional MMOs changed over the years from games where time investment equated achievements, skill, in game power and influence to pretending that it's still the same but offering p2w alternatives. I like the honesty about gachas.

I like this guy's netori games, even the elf one a little bit and I tried the trial of this island survival game too, but 13 endings is a bit much. Let me guess... 6 for each girl, one good and one true. 1 harem, 1 solo survivor that's still considered a good ending, and 5 bad endings? Some of the bad endings can be quick and general fuckups, like day 1 wrong choices or failing to provide food, fire, water, etc...
