after the chink chimpout caused them to emergency buff him, his shield beacme so strong that for years all content and even most new enemy types were designed around him, he is the reason true damage and bleed even exist
no shield released before or after him is even remotely competitive (despite what Lanyan copers will tell you) and the universal damage support he provides is still decent
