It used to be because gunning required some setup and knowledge of hitzones or else you'll run out of ammo so shitters would try out a gun and fail then the whole fox and grapes situation would happen. But now that gunning is literally baby ez mode like using a melee weapon idk why people still have hatred towards the guns.
