When I was young people on the internet were pretty normal, they talked about the games we played, news, hobbies, etc, they were just relaxed and sincere.
Now everyone is constantly acting like the internet is a comedy stage, everything is a joke, everyone is being kooky and ironic, nobody can just say or respond to anything without flourishing it as a punchline or playing a character.
Saddens me, to be honest. When everyone is "funny" nobody is anymore, it's just annoying.
