What do you mean? Valve gives you the ability to ignore playing on new slop maps and game modes if you want to, same as avoiding playing anything other than base DOOM. The community isn't able to touch base TF2, like adding new weapons or balancing what's there. Unless you're one of those retards that seethes when you see someone wearing a new hat, but there are mods to disable hats you don't like.
