what was the last time you played RGL? they have a whole Newcomer (NC) division specifically for these new players coming into comp, besides for the newbie pugs on mumble in "TF2 Newbie Mixes" and the ones on Discord in TF2 Coaching Central
>6s is fun but if you're losing 6 officials in a row it's not very fun
TRUTH, but maybe the best way to start is pugs where some MC will make sure the teams are balanced, rather than jumping in with an already made team without learning beforehand.
Plus 6 newbies wont learn much by themselves without any experience, having a experienced player or coach will speed up the learning process drastically
