Stats past 1200 have a reduced gain and reduced effectiveness. It felt good at first when it was hard to get the stat to 1400 and to actually get that high you had to make sacrifices so it became more of a choice, do you pump extra stat points in speed to push it closer to 1400 or take the higher gain in another stat.
now it's braindead easy to get 1900 speed it just feels like a number.
