You're full of shit. Most primaries were shit, the few that weren't got promptly nerfed.
Same shit went for most support weapons. People jerked off to the AC against bots because it was one of the few viable choices. You brought an AC, AMR or HMG if you wanted to feel special. The RR was completly worthless, as was the eternally bugged spear. RG got nerfed out of existence because AH balanced it around a fucking bug instead of fixing the bug - and when they fixed the fucking bug later they didn't buff it to compensate for the overnerfing they did.
I'm just tired of the nerftranny jerking off the awful balancing and design as the glorious peak of gameplay just because it makes it feel special for having eaten so much shit that it replaced its brain.
