The loot quality of noklateo is generally pretty high despite everything besides Astel and the Dragonkin Soldier being shitter bosses. A sweep of the right side on day 1 can cheese out a lot of good gear early.
I don't think it's meta either though, at least not while gaolmaxxing is still a thing.
