A popularized headcanon to explain the unfinished mess that is sonic 06 and it's story. But it's only ever been headcanon and Sonic Team doesn't validate the claim that 06 takes place before Rush. It's Sonic Rush then 06. The only thing unexplained is how she got sent to the future for that game.
