Stamina works though? I don't understand how you build any med/long umas without stamina. Like there's some retarded minimum stat checks like the japanese derby or takaruza kinen that filtered some of my umas because even though they had like 670 speed coming out of classic year, they couldn't get more than 10th in their first long race despite having maestro or deep breath.
Turns out some races have like a minimum 300 stamina checks, and if you don't have meet, your career stupid ends stupidly early. The game will literally tell you 1st favorite and you still lose like a bitch.
