That'd be the badly written version, yeah. Well, they'd be horrified at how the Imperium is now, it'd be more of a "back in my day" thing.
Alternatively, since Trazyn is interested in the VV dynasty, it could be someone who was involved in the early days of the dynasty during the Great Crusade.
