You're going into a pizza parlor and expecting steak and foie gras. I don't think you understand what kind of game BA is trying to be. It's not a serious grimdark world like CS. There is are entire genres of anime dedicated to comfy feel good stories. That is what BA is 99% of the time. If you don't love the cute girls doing cute things genre than the game isn't for you.
