If you think "proper lore" means everything needing to be explained then you've got the IQ of a petulant child who, when told why something is the way it is asks "BUT WHYY?", then repeats this when the next step is explained.

You are given a setting and instead of accepting it asks "But WHY is there a counterweight continent?" or "WHY did the oceans drink Atlantis". This shockingly hasn't stopped great fiction being great fiction or been considered "bad lore" before. I can only assume the people asking this drivvel are the most uncultured savages that haven't read a book before (or at least a piece of fiction) and are genuinly being filtered by a fucking gacha game story being beyond them.
