On all major CN platforms (Bilibilli, Douyin, Weibo, Rednote) DHPT splash is now the most liked Amphoreous male char splash, and on women dominated platforms (Weibo, Rednote) DHPT splash is the most liked Amphoreous splash in general.
He is clearly the most popular and anticipated male character in all of Amphoreous (base form and IL won the Hoyolab popularity poll this year), but his splash is being flamed by his most core fanbase who whale on DHIL eidolons, buy all DH merch etc right now on Weibo because of the lack of care that went into his design, the disrespectful name Shaoji’s team gave him (Dan Teng -> my balls hurt), and the reduction of his character to a 1000 year waiting ML simp.
