It mindbroke the OCG so no support ever happens.
Ratpier is still limited which makes a lot of combos just not real.
Barrage is still limited despite being a tool that most other decks have (an e-tele)
Broadbull is banned for the crime of being a Rank 4 searcher
Drident is banned for the crime of being just a little too good generically back when it dominated and when it temporarily came back, only to immediately begin dominating again.
Realistically, Zoodiac doesn't actually do anything too insane anymore. It just kept appearing and dominating at very fucking unfortunate timings
