5.1 This chapter really opened up more questions about Ruka than it answered. So Ruka was an intelligent narby that became a human-narby of its own will. But then what happened after Ruka's mom died? What happened to her dad? How did she end up getting picked up by the military? If Ruka "dies" and reverts back to being a narby, is she still intelligent or will she be dumb like the rest?
