There is actually, with GOAT and Edison formats that are becoming more popular lately. They're small communities of yugioh players who prefer older formats and of course the use of old cards.

I do collect old cards just for the sake of collecting. So if I see someone with an old card for trade I'll just straight up ask for a trade, but I'm not actively seeking these old cards.
