I'm in the same boat.
I've got a solid Tachyeon, an OK Collad McQueen, and then I basically a gap filler that is either Condor or Oguri.
This event REALLY seems like it doesn't want you to have anything past Pace Chaser.
It also very much keeps slapping bad moods on my two primary girls.
