shartses are 20% "skill" then 80% gear and external factors(buffs, comp, push times and kill time)
"top" players have access to way better gear through splits also raid myth loot and vault so they always end up looking good on logs no matter how well they play

put some random aotc pug schmuck on imfiredup/thd/gingi account and he will pull similar numbers to him in a heroic raid
