ggg did an amazingly miserable job of arranging her gemcutting order in a way that guided the player towards doing this. its like it baits the player into doing something rubbish or suicidal.
I only played act 1 and used Fangs of Frost and it absolutely shit on bosses but when clearing I completely gave up on trying to use the shitty 2 second-duration ground effect to add cold damage to twisters.
