Because it depends on what type of fracture it was, most horses get really bad fractures and will never recover but if the vet thinks it's not that bad then they won't get put down.
These are really expensive horses, putting them down is the last thing they will suggest. Teio was just lucky his legs were not that fucked up, 3 times.
