I´m at 11-1, should I do the event (is dissociative recombination an event?) but skip the story until later to farm?

Are the base setups still the same? They added a new part on the right
I've got attached for rolls, anything urgent coming up or can I roll for mon3ter? I don't remember the conversion, but I should have enough for a guarantee right?
