SPT just allows you to turn pve tarkov into an actual singleplayer experience. no, I don't need to wait literal hours for a hideout upgrade, insurance, or a cultist circle. if I want to use a hammer and an uncracked phone to make a cracked phone, I will mod it so it takes 5 seconds instead of 50 minutes.
also all the content/visual mods help liven things up, as well as the mods to make the bots more challenging and actually do shit like their own quests and looting.
you're never going to get the blood rushing cat and mouse of pvp, but it can be its own fun (and miles ahead of pve)
