I'm talking about physics interaction glitches. Interpolation is purely visual and has no effect on interactions.
The problem is if you turn on off physics on a node and move it somewhere else, as soon as it turns back on still thinks it was in its previous position for a few frames. Needless to say this is very bad for gameplay.
