You're coming at wild with a standard mindset. Wild games are much more determined in the deck building segment of the game. Crying because your oppponent had the perfect answer will get you nowhere. Yeah your renothal opponent had "THE PERFECT ANSWER" they put 10 perfect answers in their deck. There's not a good deck in that format that isn't very consistent in what it is.
