The shock tech is interesting, you autoexert battlemage's cry with Ball Lightning of Static, and this periodically dumps a million hits on targets. You're not gonna have 50 shocks on every white mob but uptime is very good for when you need it.

I don't feel it's enough to warrant picking it.
If you have an ele katabasis pob or video or something that you're actually happy with, I'd love to see it cuz I just never managed to make a good one and I have not seen others make a good build out of it either.
The skill is a little cursed honestly, there are so many things you want it to work with (like elementalist's chill node), but then it just doesn't.
