I'm doing the same thing, fist weps are just the best str weps. Generally anything with a double hit charged attack that isn't absurdly slow will do though, stuff like the godskin stitcher or even that bird straight sword are excellent options. People keep saying "oh but if you trade you lose 90% of your hp" well then don't trade without negation up? Limit the hits to hits you can regen with post-damage recovery. Don't know what to say other than skill issue.

I'm watching people play trios and no they absolutely have not. None of the shit people do in trios would let you succeed in solos, and especially not in duos
Trios are just so goddamn lenient. People just spamming spells and getting oneshot but it's fine, someone will res. People literally win them with 10x 3 bars on the team. Aggro mechanics and gigantic boss arenas make it a tad too easy to revive, so you can kinda suck, so long as your run goes ok you guarantee the night boss kill.
