I think that mihoyo knows that their golden days are numbered because of how many new much better gacha games are coming out so they are trying their hardest to farm as much money as possible while they still can. That is also why even Genshin has become so monetized it's insane.
After this phase they should chill out a bit so hopefully no pink menance next year.
