You ever thought about how shit some stuff is in wow?

pic related, rogue lockpicking leveling. you just stand in a spot to click on a chest over and over to level the skill. it goes up like 1 at a time and you need 85 for the first tier to do the quest.
They could have had 2-3 pirate ships close together like in STV and had pirates with high chance to give lockboxes patrolling around with the boxes spread out all over the place that also had minor loot in them.
>killing pirates has small chance of dropping small silk pirate shirt
>pickpocketing them gives low quality snuff sells for 65c stacks 40 times, and high chance for a low lvl lockbox which has silver and some gems to help you level lockpicking more while also getting loot
>random chests around the area give low lvl grey armors or weapons that sell for like 5s each. good enough to be worth it, not good enough for high lvls to farm. low chance of a decent green pirate sword or whatever
>now you farm the area for lockpicking but its more engaging and you get a bit of gold for it.
what would this take, like a weekend of designing to put together for one guy?
