I'm not going to sit here and say anon isn't entirely in the wrong to question why we spend money on a free 4chan show. And to be honest I'm probably going to reach a decision here someday where I decide I don't want to spend money (it's not a whole lot to be honest) anymore and move on.
But I enjoy doing this and I'm 100% ok with saying that the reason we pay for things is because no one would volunteer to do them. No one is going to slave away doing 3d animations for free no matter how much you sit here and meme. It just doesn't happen. So I am happy to fund the animator for what he does and I'm constantly blown away by what he can do. Same with the rest of the team
