The orcs aren't the ones starting anything, though. It's his wife's sister, which most people would consider to be reason to pause and think about things. Speaking of which, let's not forget that he'd also be looking at the fact that his wife's "kind and home" decided to throw their lot in with the Horde.

And, for all that emphasis on "kind and home", you think that he should be champing at the bit over an entire species that he didn't even know existed until he got back? When doing so means opposing the (undead) citizens of Lordaeron and the (blood) elves of Quel'thelas? With a thousand years of perspective, rash action seems unlikely in the extreme.
