merkavas are ass because they're overtiered, slow as fuck, and gayjew refuses to give them usable armor anywhere. if you play the 2D as a second line sniper and use the blue enemies as bait it can do alright, but the 2D is only at 10.0 because of the dm33 round which it needs to have any chance in the constant uptiers you'll get.
