Madara is a light speed character and I don't think anyone in DB moves at light speed until Goku learns Instant Transmission, so i think Madara could at the least keep up with Nappa and Raditz and at best he's faster. plus as i mentioned he is 4 guys and 3 of them are invisible + intangible. Madara can't perform Amaterasu but he does have Rinnegan and can use all of Pain's abilities. Universal Push and Pull, Soul Absorption, Chakra Absorbtion, Rebirth, etc. he can also make clones of himself that have all his abilities in addition to the 3 limbo clones. and like i said, physical strength only means so much against light speed characters and light speed laser attacks in a universe where it's confirmed that even SSGSS users are vulnerable to precise laser beams.

i don't wanna get off on too big a side bar about this though because it's only tangentially on-topic and cause i'm not that invested in Madara beating Nappa anyway. i would be more invested if i thought he could make it to Namek and fight the Ginyu Force. he MIGHT be able to beat Saiyan Saga Vegeta if the invisible Madara's catch him off-guard and open him up to the laser beheading. lol
