each Mangekyo user has a different unique ability. Sasuke and Itachi's was Amaterasu, Shisui's was Kotoamatsukami, Obito's is Kamui. Madara's is never shown except in an Ultimate Ninja Storm cutscene that probably isn't canon where he uses it to rewind time during a battle with Hashirama.
