Just about the right size for an infantry map. Pretty equal terrain wise for both sides, tanks make a huge impact but there are also generally multiple angles to attack them from, C fights are genuinely enjoyable instead of an annoying slog, fun in every mode, viable for pretty much every infantry playstyle. Closing in on 250 hours and Cairo really only grows on me as time passes whereas every other map I find some inherent flaw or annoyance that bothers me. Like I look at how Liberation would be great if had some kinda tunnel through the mountains instead of funneling everything through C(though the jetnigger in me does love those C clusterfucks) or how Manhattan is fundamentally a great concept of a map but it's ruined by being too small and the lack of destruction meaning that roofniggers have too much impact on control of other parts of the map, especially if their heli has air superiority.
