The only thing I kinda didn't like in the end was there are no actual rules for Biyao's powers. Like he can rewrite any "story" however he pleases, but there's really no fail condition for his ability. Like you can forcefully recreate the story so the story will not come to pass, and he can just bruteforce the ending somehow by writing in the diary. They got Siwen to agree not to go to war and not make primals, and Biyao just sorta brute forced the ending regardless of what made sense or not by rewriting the ending every time. I mean he lost in the end but its not entirely clear how, suddenly he had limitations.
Unless all his power came from Siwen in the first place, but that makes it even more unclear what exactly Biyao was.
