But since she needed to make Sephirah's state even worse for Ayin to swoop in later, she had to make people she care about suffer until they suffered the right way and had very specific causes of mental breakdown
And yet she still cares about people even before any realizations occur, she's just a bit retarded and has to convince herself that the library isn't just a death trap for people who can't choose to avoid walking into it
