Seaborn getting kicked out was never put into question. It was explicitly a matter of time. They don't adapt retroactively, they either need to eat each other or have another batch made for adaptations to take effect, so, they would all die fairly quickly.
The problem is that arkniggers would have to deal with the adaptations afterwards since the information would be relayed to their world and potentially trigger the hivemind in general, which they are actively trying to avoid in the first place (seaborn at the moment just sorta exist despite causing trouble, they aren't actively trying to wipe out other life)
