Throughout the entire 2.7 update, the protagonist really seemed like an idiot. Forget about being an overpowered protagonist; this is just pure nonsense.
In the first half, Gabe had all the spotlight, and even the Fractsidus wasn't targeting the protagonist, but Gabe. The Grand Architect even personally intervened. And what did the protagonist do? He was in a coma three times, and the villains were treated like nobody's business. They could just throw together a random story and he'd end up dying. After Gabe defeated the grand architect, she still had to save the black-haired guy.
In the second half, Qiu Yuan's character was ridiculously overpowered. He knew everything and showed off all the cool stuff. In contrast, the protagonist knew nothing, had no highlights whatsoever, and compared to him, he really seemed like a complete idiot who could only babble on and on!
The protagonist's character design now feels incredibly disjointed to me. Even the female characters who previously liked him now seem less appealing. Why would they like such a useless character? These women were blind to even consider this
