really the starting saw cleaver is one of the best weapons in the game and can carry you all the way thru np. its moveset is fast and amazing. so many of the bloodborne weapons with these clunky ass moves and they just dont feel like they belong in the game. id stay away from bloodtinge unless you are making a build around it. i parry as much as possible but the starting pistol is fine for it
